This collectible 1978 Bronco came to us to get it prepped for sale. It had received a full repaint a few years ago but never got a final polish and detail when it was completed. Thick body shop dust paired with outdoor contamination from sitting for the last year meant it was in dire need of a deep clean.
We removed the “Trailer Special” package mirrors from the doors so we could clean and polish the paint behind them properly. The engine bay received a deep clean to remove the worst areas of body shop dust and grime. After claying and polishing the paint, we cleaned the interior and fixed some small odds and ends that were missed during the paint reassembly. We found and ordered a “New old stock” Ford emblem that was missing from the steering wheel, and reaffixed some of the wiring in the engine bay to its proper routing points.
The owner spoke to us about listing it for sale, and wanted to see if we would like to try first. We were able to bring the owner a buyer within 24 hours, for more than he was asking.
